Steam Support and Counter-Strike: Source Help GuideThis guide is to help you to understand a little more about these two Forums, and help us clean the Forums from any unnecessary topics. We would like to help you with any questions about steam and counter-strike but some questions can already be easily answered by just using steam support or checking if your computer is up to date. Please look over these few guidelines before posting: [/align:f95bc3ea02]
Basics
Sometimes all it takes is a few tweaks to fix the problem. Try lowering your video settings if you have a problem with the game. Try restarting your computer. If you want to, also try reinstalling the game.

Steam Support
Have you checked Steam Support for your answer? You'll find it very useful and it already answers most of the commonly asked question for Steam or Counter-Strike help. Just use the search bar located there for your problem.

Counter-Strike: Source System Requirements
If you're having trouble with your Counter-Strike: Source, are you sure it's not your computer that's causing it? Make sure your computer fits the system requirements. Gnatman007 has helped us find a tool that checks it for you! Go https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=366. There will be a 'Diagnostic Tool'.

System Requirements
Minimum:

CPU: 1.2 GHZ or Equivalent, 512 MB RAM, Video Card: 64 MB DX9 Compliant, 2 GB free hard drive space, DX 8.1 Compatible Audio, Windows 2000/XP

Recommended:
CPU: 2.4 GHZ, Video Card: 128 MB DX9 Compliant with PS 2.0 support, Sound Card: Eax Compatible

Updating DirectX
Have you tried updating your DirectX? Even if your DirectX already matchs recommended or minimum requirements try updating it on the web site any ways. Sometimes games can't even run because you have a out of date DirectX. It's also never bad to plan ahead.
Updating Graphic Drivers
If you think the problem is your graphic card, update the graphic drivers. Properties>Settings>Advanced>Adapter>Properties>Driver>Update Driver

If you have any other questions that aren't already answered in the guide post them or private message me. Please remember to include your dxdiag, though.
